Hi betoh,
To enable the A to Z to display pages that have web permissions applied to them, do a find on the snippet code and remove any occurences of ’ AND privateweb=0’ from the generated SQL queries. (Off the top of my head, I think there are about 4 occurences you will need to change)
Hope that helps,
Garry

I am getting an internal server error
this is the output i am getting from this url
http://www.interior18.com/index.php?q=glosario.html?letter=A
This happens because you are using index.php?q= prefix and when the snippet adds that ?letter=A to the url, there will be two ? chars in the url what is not accepted.
The snippet uses makeURL api function to generate the urls, what should generate them right, but it’s not working. I’ve talked about this
before too, that the makeURL generates the urls wrong if there is a ? char in furl prefix and the dev team said not to use any prefix for the url attributes in makeURL call. But I checked the code that this snippet uses and there is no prefix used in the url parameters, so the the bug is in the makeURL api function. I’ve allready made a
task from this to the bugtracker a while ago, but there is no progress made on this.

This is a site that i do not care how it attracts traffic, url formatting without a prefix shouldn’t be a problem, however I see that others have been succesful, how is this done?
thanks again Garryn
This issue will be fixed in the next modx release, but for now there is two options. In your FURL settings, don’t use index.php?q= as prefix, or change lines 92-99 in the snippet code from:
//-- Output Alphabet Headings
for ($i = 0; $i < $lcount; $i++) {
if ($i < $lcount -1) {
$atozletters .= '<span class="azalpha"><a href="' . $modx->makeURL($docid, '', 'letter=' . $alphabet[$i] . '') . '">' . $alphabet[$i] . '</a></span><span class="azsep"> | </span>';
} else {
$atozletters .= '<span class="azalpha"><a href="' . $modx->makeURL($docid, '', 'letter=' . $alphabet[$i] . '') . '">' . $alphabet[$i] . '</a></span>';
}
}
to:
//-- Output Alphabet Headings
for ($i = 0; $i < $lcount; $i++) {
if ($i < $lcount -1) {
$atozletters .= '<span class="azalpha"><a href="[~' . $docid .'~]&letter=' . $alphabet[$i] .'">' . $alphabet[$i] . '</a></span><span class="azsep"> | </span>';
} else {
$atozletters .= '<span class="azalpha"><a href="[~' . $docid .'~]&letter=' . $alphabet[$i] .'">' . $alphabet[$i] . '</a></span>';
}
}

Hi everyone,
I’m wondering if I could use this snippet to show a list as it does but with
a filter/parameter from a Tv. ( One or more autor of a document show on web pages)
What would be the way in that case ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi alchime,
It’s not possible at the moment to filter by a TV value, but I’m working on version 7 of the A to Z snippet which will include TV filtering (and a whole lot more)
More soon,
Garry
