An issue with menu index sorting has been moved to a dedicated thread as it seems that the fault was not with AJAX Menu Index.
If you have this issue, or if you can help, please read
Problem with Menu Index Not Being Used For Sorting Properly.
since some days I get exactly the same error. Previously it worked perfect. strange. What I did: added the favorite links module, added some more pages, a bit of content, some template changes... nothing spectacular.
also have same error
using modx-0.9.5 and latest versions of apache, sql, php
Does the module work with 0.9.5?
I have noticed this on some of my installs too, but not all of them. I’d have to sort out why some exhibit this issue and some don’t (same server, BTW).

MODx est l'outil id
This module was integrated into the DocManager module for 0.9.5. I recommend using that instead as its been tested more extensively.
Oops after verification sorry I was talking about TV sorting as far as I am concerned which doesn’t work when I use DocManager but it does when I use the new "Assigned Template Variables" tab when you edit a template you can sort them alright... not the same problem, Menu Index works fine.

MODx est l'outil id
sounds like a sensational module.
half of the users are enthousiastic the others frustrated ....
I just installed a plain default installation, installed Ajax Menu Index Editor as instructed.
When runnig the module, I get this (see picture modx1.gif).
(+ JS Error "MODX_MEDIA_PATH is not defined" in ./manager/media/script/modx.js)
When I click on a parent document or site root in the document tree (left) I just leave the module execution.
When I click "go", I get this (see picture modx2.gif).
What do I wrong? Any clues?
Best regards manu37
