It will stay in this stage, until I have some free time to get back working on this calendar, considering I already use this snippet for my previous client. When I have a new client requesting the use of this snippet, then I’ll work on this again for sure smiley

Did you run the sql database query first, before you use this snippet?
FYI, this snippet is still beta, and there is no easy solution to set this up. So be aware grin

              Yep they are.
              Can’t argue with that. wink

Wait until I get my free time to work on this, I will crank this puppy up, and it will definetely be one of those super snippets that you guys won’t be able to find it in any other CMS system out there.

Ehmm.. The tricky part is, when do I have chance to do it? grin

I don’t know about GTD at fist, but when you say get things done, now I remember that famous philoshpher or whatever you want to call it. Yes, there are some things that are on my priority list. For sure most of them is kinda personal though. wink

Anyway, just wait and see, the approaching of a more robust and stable core is coming up. By the time we reach v1.0, we will surely have a set of rules, API, system, best practices and etc to star wrapping up certain major resources such as calendar, newsletter, phpgiggle, forums, blog, commenting system, picture album, and etc to be as robust and powerful compare to the current core. So for now, seat back and relax. Cheers..!

After looking at the new Google Calendar system, I think it would be nice to allow events from this MODx calendar to be added to someone’s personal google calendar like they describe here
                    http://www.google.com/googlecalendar/event_publisher_guide.html

Plus, I also like they way you can drag-n-drop events around the calendar after they are entered. More of that cool Ajax stuff going on I guess.

lol, I’ve been pondering about this for a while, but I’m in the middle of creating a full AJAX backend, and this is the first time as a programmer than I’ve spent a lot of time just for the user interface, considering the complexity of integrating frontend and backend between php and html. We’ll see what I can come up with. If someone has a better suggesi=tion or willing to improve it, feel free to do so.

Considering so many licensing issues going around in this forum, I would definetely state that this is licensed under GPL, so you guys can do whatever that you guys want with the code wink
