    Aha! What’s this, in editor.db.php???

    $calDataSource = new calSourceDatabase('', $_GET['pid']);

    There you, go that’s when you instantiate the class into an object. Basically you should pass a dot on it
    $calDataSource = new calSourceDatabase('.', $_GET['pid']);

    That’s for telling the path tot the class, but the cache is still not cleaning up by itself though.

    I’m working on it right now, wanna work together?
    Do you have im?

    Sincerely,
      Wendy Novianto

      I think garryn doesn’t have any problem with it.

      No such luck I’m afraid sad I went through the code last night correcting a few of the error notices and got a bit sidetracked.

      Just started looking at the caching problem as well if you need a hand at all.

      Cheers, Garry

        Hi, I got it to work. I create the cache name with lower case db_2_200602.cache.php, while on the updating part, I’m using upper case DB_2_200602.cache.php.
        lol, that’s freaking me for a while.

        I’ll post the update in a few min. The minor error that was showed up because of the error message being turn on, I will fix that later. Right now I’m working on my production site, so if I turn that on, it will break my site, because I have @INHERIT all over the template, which it seems to be a small error in @INHERIT binding smiley

            Ok guys, time to try it again.
            I just fix the cache issue and adding a few parameter to the constructor to enable/disable caching, in case someone having difficulty in giving write permission to cache folder.
            If you want to disable it, add one more parameter passing to the end of the class declaration on editor and snippet code, which has to be filled with false to disable caching or true (default) to enabled it.

            Have fun, it’s suppose to be more stable now.

            I just fix another issue with newsletter as well tongue hehehee.. I’ll update that one as well than.

              Hey Wendy,

              Still haven’t had time to play with this or your Newsletter snippet, but came across an RSS calender during my internet travels.

              Thought I’d share it with you as its quite a good concept and something you may be able to add to yours eventually smiley

                Still won’t clear the cache on delete, thinks its supposed to unlink ./cache/db_75_000000.cache.php. The $Vars argument isn’t getting passed.

                  Did you replace all 3 php files on the snippet root dir?
                  Please clear the cache folder, and try to view the calendar page again. After that edit one of the page and update it. See if it works.

                    Just updated a minute ago and still causing a problem for me as well.

                    I’d agree with Susan that it seems to be a problem with the vars being passed over, in my case it just doesn’t pick up $datebegin. If I hardcode the ’_200602’ part of the cache file path it works okay for that particular cache file.

                    This has got me completely puzzled ...

                      It seems to me that when the cache files being created, it’s not created right, is that correct?

                      So basically the problems comes from creating the cache files with the right name, instead of deleteing the cache file with the right name, when updating the db.

                      Is that correct?
