I notice when clicking on the images nothing happens, it returns to default doc, is this something we can change in the snippet ?

I modified the snippet a bit to work with lightbox 2 (
http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/ ).
This snippet will show the big version of the image you upload when you click a thumb and will also show the description of the image.
- Download lightbox and copy the image/css/js folders in your site root.
- Replace your epg2 snippet with the attached one and your set
- its that easy
It supports groups to. If you add the var ’&group=`groupname`’ in the snippet-call you get those nice next/prev buttons
I just used it at this website for a client (which is not quite finished yet though):

Does anyone have an idea of how to change the module so that it saves the pictures to the server, as a file? Maybe it could keep the thumbnails on the db and the full res pics in some assets page....
My problem is that I have 400mb for files and the mySQL database can’t be bigger than 30mb..... pretty loq for pics (i’m already using 640x480 to keep them small.)
Thanks guys, I had some troubles installing and using epg2, but you all had already answered/solved my problems before hand!
cheers,
Renato.
(BTW, is anyone trying to localize this module? I translated the snippet, which is no big deal, anyway...)
EDIT: translated to brazilian portuguese (pt-br)
Exactly what I needed!
Sorry for not digging up enough the repository....
hello, is it possible to run the gallery twice at a page?
like:
call gallery1 with thumbs
some text
call gallery2 with thumbs
....?
when i try it, i get some error messages like function already declared in.....blah.
would be really nice.
pretty cool script!
Those functions already exists error can be fixed with a if(function_exist()) check
PS. This is an old port of the Easy Peasy Gallery 2 written Nick at Etomite so some of the bugs seen here could have been resolved in Nick’s latest version.
Hi there,
Recently upgraded to 0.9.2. Had a whle load of problems doing so but im over most of them now!!!!
However one remains......All the images in my EPG appear as broken links (ie red x’s)
All the paths are correct and the correct image is being called from the database....but just a red x?
If I upload a new image it is fine??? Are my images corrupted in the database?
Thanks
Justin
Does the gallery tables still have content on them? if you dropped the database or tables at some point, the pics are lost. I hope you have a backup of the database in that case.
