I’ve also got a little question that I can’t seem to figure out; how can I make TinyMCE show up full-featured on the frontend as well? Right now it’s the minimal toolbar on the "Add Blog" page (default content) and it doesn’t display any toolbar on the QuickEdit pages, somehow.

Go to the Configuration tab of the plugin under Manage Resources. You should see a configuration parameter labeled Web Theme. This is a global parameter that allows you to set what theme is used for the front-end.

I’m using the Fully Featured toolbar as the theme for front-end. But this causes some problems, I’m not able to set the text to bold, italics, ordered list and so on. In FF I can see it turns to bold when i check Bold but then switches back to normal within 1ms undecided In IE it doesn’t change at all. However, when I change back to Advanced everything works fine. As it is, only the fully featured toolbar give me access to the Resource Browser so I’m trying to sticking to it. Any suggestions?

So it works alright in IE but not in FF? Do you have the Adblock extension installed in FF? If so, disable it for the site MODx is installed on. Also, if you’re using it on the front-end, be careful with your CSS. I’ve had times when some class I created interfered with the rendering of TinyMCE on a page.
