[Plugin] Qm+ aka QuickManager+

QuickManager+ is an alternative to QuickEdit to quick access and control content from frontend. This is a modified version of the original QuickManager plugin with extensive set of configuration parameters. QuickManager+ is also tuned to work with ManagerManager and Inherit Selected Template plugins.

May be a good idea to merge this with the original QE thread to keep it in one place.

"Front-end Document Managers" including QuickEdit in the description seems like a good subforum board rename and can include FDM and other similar things in there as well.

You are right, do the merge/transfer if you can.

In the latest Opera snapshot, it just shows a white screen when I try to edit the document.

I remove the jQuery call, since I’m already using it on my website.

Yes, Opera support is not even tested. Don’t know if it’s even necessary to support Opera since MODx manager doesn’t officially support Opera.

Even though the Opera manager works perfectly in Opera (once you enable raising or lowering of windows in the JavaScript options, I forget which, to allow for the right-click menu to appear in the tree)?

What’s your saying is like Google saying "f*** you all who don’t use Firefox / IE / Chrome". Hell, Opera even fixes the top-menu hovering issue that’s in Firefox when the tree is collapsed.

BTW, where does it show MODx not supporting Opera? I’ve never seen that. MODx is made for people who write HTML instead of WYSIWYG, so not supporting certain browsers wouldn’t seem right.

I have nothing agains Opera, I just haven’t ever used it with MODx manager because I thought (wrongly remembered?) it won’t work properly. MODx requirements page says that MODx works with Firefox, Safari and IE: http://modxcms.com/learn/general-requirements.html

Yeah, except for a weird design issue where it creates an extra vertical scrollbar (which goes away if you enable Fit-To-Width and disable it again), it works perfectly in Opera.

Anyone here happen to have Opera installed and could take a look and see if maybe I installed it incorrectly? I know it’s calling the correct stuff (I can see the URL). it just doesn’t appear in the Thickbox window.
