Note that the thermometer moves up a tenth of the way to the goal at a time. If the goal is $10,000, $450 will show as 0, $501 will show as $1000.
Just a note. I’m working on a much-improved version.
It fixes a bug in the money_format call and adds the opportunity to set the locale.
Best of all, instead of rounding off to the nearest 10% of the goal (rather poorly) for the mercury height, it now rounds off to the nearest .25 percent, so the thermometer display is 40 times as accurate.
I hope to have it available in a day or two.

I’ll definitely use the code inside the ’Horizontally and verticaly centered box’ which informs how speedy we’ll be opening a site!, Have not tested it on the HVCB but i’ll leave a code here if it works well there.
I’ve never tried it that way. Let me know.
