[buggy snippet] Front End Document Manager (FDM) v0.1b

Is this snippet still supported? Only I notice that the original author, Soda, hasn’t posted in over a year.

blowback, it seems as thought the original developer has moved on to other things. Any support offered is user generated and I would think that if people would like to move forward with FDM that it need be done by a new dev/or group of devs.

i read all pages about FDM, for me is the best way to manage site by users
in my site it work very well for a basically part of my project
users (with a special role that can run module) create document with an "hide" FDM snippet, they adds events and articles only by a link inserted on quickedit menus

after the document is create they will redirect on the document page just created, and can manage contents by QuickEdit
i have only a small problem with a ’duplicate’ tv date, but ... no matter is only a detail

is only my personal way to way of seeing what

yes, but there isn’t changes from the last edit.....

Is it possible to use FDM in a popup Window (jQuery ColorBox for example)?
I don’t want to display the eform in the content page. Any ideas?

First of all, I love this! I have been looking for a way to do this for days and now it’s here.

My problem:

The new document is using the modxhost template automatically.

How do I specify which template to use??

Doesn’t it have a parameter to specify the template to use?

The parameter "model" defines the page which will be copied for the new document.
So you need to change the template for the "model page"...

How do I set permissions?
I tried:
&manager_webusers=`userid`

It doesn’t work. If I am logged into manager, the link to add a document appears, if I am not logged into manager, but as the user specified in the call, there is no link.

help please!
