You may have better help for this directly in the eForm forum. I have seen discussions on this but unwisely did not bookmark any.

In theory you need to use an eForm event and have a php function to handle the uploaded file. In theory it is not to difficult but I have not done it yet so I do not speak from experience.

Sorry to answer only now, notice that eForm will be removed in the next version of FDM to allow more flexibility.
For all of you that want new features, FDM is always in an early stage of development and I don’t recommend to use it in a production site.
I’m working on using xpdo but I have no as much time as I need and xpdo is quite difficult to use for me.
I will have more time to work on FDM (which will be called xFDM) in a few month.

If you’re in the process of rewriting FDM for xPDO/0.9.7, check out the 0.9.7 API documentation you’ll find quite a bit of info there

Uh, am I dreaming or unpublish operation redirects to unpublished document’s parent even if it isn’t changing itself, while publish operation stays at the current editor page?

hi,

I need to "hard code" the url into FDM’s add,edit,delete buttons to get around an IIS glitch. Can anyone point me to where I should do this....

You mean you want to chage those button images and hard code those urls?
Then you can find them in language files.

I found this entry’s in the lang file:

I need to hard code the following to bypass modx from creating friendly urls:

http://localhost:/index.php?id=63&fdmaction=add&fdmmodel=86&fdmparent=68&fdmid=63

I could use the [+id+] to get the id in but how do I pick up the parent and fdmmodel id’s

Has anyone got FDM to change the document to folder if it creates a doc under it.

I’m using FDM to build a "tree" on the webuser side. Is there some thing I can add to the eform to activat this?

One small msg to tell you that xFDM is on a good way, I’m currently test it (in an external single table version) on a production site.
You can use/modify the current fdm, but I recommend you to wait the new one, it will be really more powerfull (because it use the awesome work of Opengeek !).
It is able to edit all modx and external table with related item (ie: document and tv, Maxigallery, Jot ...).

I’m currently adding event to allow developpers to add their own validation rules and formatting for the fields, and usergroups validations.
As the previous one it will be useable with Ditto.
