I had to post again to say "Thanks!" for including the [tt]$where[/tt] parameter. Very cool and something I’ve wished for. I tried it and it worked fine. Thanks for the great work on Ditto.

EDIT: For you testers out there. There is something screwy about the [tt]&hideFolders[/tt] parameter. It returns folders for me even if I use [tt]&hideFolders=`1`[/tt].

I was wondering if this was the culprit in [tt]ditto.class.inc.php[/tt]? [tt]$hidefolders[/tt] does not have the "f" in folders capitalized. When I change that to a "F", I don’t get the error -- but it still returns folders no matter what I do.

// Create where clause
$where = $hidefolders ? 'isfolder = 0' : '';
$where .= $showInMenuOnly ? 'hidemenu = 0': '';
$where .= ($mywhere == '') ? '' : $mywhere;

Another thing is when using the &where parameter -- the SELECT statement returns with no space between the [tt]isfolder[/tt] and [tt]where[/tt] so it throws an error.
[tt]isfolder = [red]0p[/red]agetitle LIKE ’M%’[/tt]

I know this sounds like a daft question but do I install this the same way as the old version i.e delete the old ditto folder and upload the new ditto.

Also is the call to make the snippet work the same as the old version? I`m asking because I dont see any docs on this

I just checked hideFolders and it is working fine for me.

Thank you for finding the space issue. I will correct it in 1.1 Final.

1.1 should be installed in the same manner as 1.0.2. However, the snippet calls are different. There is no updated list of parameters as it is still in Beta, but your old calls should continue to function.

I installed it by removing the old ditto folder and replacing with the new stuff, but it didnt show anything at all, nothing?
Anyway I know you are prolly busy.

Mark, I meant to mention earlier that hideFolders is working for me now -- I think it was a corrupted download -- as a fresh install worked fine.

IDEA: Mark, you might wish to consider having another parameter that could be set to make the appearance of the pagination menu conditional based on whether the search results exceed the summarize value. IOW, let’s say I set my summarize to 40 items and turn on paginate. If I don’t have 40 items returned then the paginate menu would not appear -- if it exceeded this and had a page 2 then it would appear. Just a thought.

Found it in the code, but FYI, the "randomize" parameter isn’t listed with the other parameters... at least in the snippet itself. I initially tried "random" but then found it and realized the call needs to be made as &randomize=`1`

Is there anyway to create complex filtering based on tags?

e.g.,

show anything that matches (A or B) and C

or

(A or B) and (C or D) and !E

My guess is no as it seem, currently anyway, that it is either all, any, none, or not any, but can’t be a combination... any of these, none of those, etc.
