CMSContent - FCKEditor Plugin Allows you to insert links to MODX Pages :)

Ah that makes sense, I think it’s getting a bit late in the UK for me to be thinking straight

Will add it to my list, I guess adding all the extra options on the normal insert link should do the job

While you mostly refer to the folder as CMSContent/, your image link is to cmscontent/

Depending on the configuration, Linux servers may not find the image.

Please make sure all references are in the same case.

Ah Good point,

I have checked the files and can only see the folder CMSContent being in upper case anyone trying this please rename the folder so that it is in lower case, I will ammend this in the next version.

One thing I forgot to mention with this plugin is that Modx or the browser seems to cache it for a long time, I found if you make anychanges to the dialog or toolbar button the best was to refresh was to click edit document again, on a few occassions though when i was adjusting the dialog size firefox would’nt show me the new size for quite some time.

I’m not sure if its modx doing some caching or just my PC, any advice on this would be appreciated.

Good work! Haven’t tested it yet but I really appreciate the fact that you’ve gotten this to work. If it’s ok with you, I’d like to see if I can integrate this into both the FCKEditor and TinyMCE distributions, including the editor that comes stock in MODx. In the process, I’ll see if I can help ya fix some bugs in the process.

Unless I see this feature in modx i want to use joomla, as my clients need this option

joomla doesnt have this feature though, innit.

Just had a look and it doesnt look like it, I don’t like Joomla tried out Mambo some time ago and that put me off CMS’s all together until i found Modx..

I’m on a linux server and the icon in fckeditor was coming up as a broken image. I don’t recommend changing the folder name, that brings up a lot of alerts in the editor. The best way of fixing this is to open CMSContent/fckplugin.js, find:
’cmscontent/cmscontent.gif’
and change it to
’CMSContent/cmscontent.gif’

that’s the only instance of a mis-cased filepath. Other than that, this is a totally great plugin!
