Hm - what’s the id of your page with the ditto call? You have to insert it’s id in cumulus call:

[!cumulus_swf? &parent=`0` &landing=`Here_Id_Of_Your_Dittopage` ....!]

I’m currently modifying the default install templates - in this case calling the cumulus snippet from within the MODxHost template within div id="sidebar".

I apologize here as I’m a newb and am still learning so... my basic understanding is Ditto allows for tagging and for "Access (to) individual posts in templates via placeholders (replacing ’ # ’ with actual integers)." But as I’m using the Tv documentTags and using Search Friendly URLs - normally a # would reference a dynamic call and is not SEO friendly (which I don’t see now as all pages are .html in browser) and (apologies) I can’t see a reference to a DITTOid# under the General tab for any page within the actual manager (something that would seem to me to be of value btw).

If I understand what’s happening (and please again excuse the newbness and lack of php sophistication on my part - it looks like an array is being created based on tag matching with Ditto id - and we need to set a valid id start (and end) point to create a valid array.

Is there a way to get Ditto id for each page? In this case where I’m calling the snippet from within the site template is there still a valid Ditto id? (in essence this is rendering in every page, not just one) within the sidebar...

Sry - realizing my limits here on this one - but really I guess the best way to learn - (and of course I am RTFM from PRIZM (book) and other good ref sites... tryin’ just taking a while... so your help greatly appreciated!

Hmm just stumbled into the Document Manager which I haven’t touched since default install and I notice there is an ability to select a template and Specify a Range of Document IDs - I wonder if this is my problem? I’m not sure how to set this up tho if indeed this might be the issue connected to the DITTO id problem (is this DITTO id, or a different Id)? (sorry I know - total newb).

sorry, i think we don’t understand each other. wink

(i’m from germany, maybe i should improve my english).

You must insert a new page in your document with a ditto call, described earlier. This page has an id and this id you have to use in your cumulus call. The cumulus can be in a sidebar, in some documents, everywhere you want to show the tag cloud.

If your cumulus call still looks like this:

[!cumulus_swf? &parent=`0` &landing=`99` &tvTags=`documentTags` &tagDelim=` ` &wmode=`transparent`!]

a click on tag in tag cloud would try to open the page with id 99 (and show the result with ditto’s help there). But if you doesn’t have a page with the id=99 you’ll get a 404.

Just looked at the screencast of the drag and drop in manager for modx revolution, really neat!
A similar behavior with cumulus will be really welcome, will give it a try this summer!

First of all, thanks for this great add-on, cumulus tagcloud works great!

I would like to know if the following is possible.

Rather than link form the cloud to the tagcloud landing page, I would like each tag to go straight to a page.

How can I adapt the script to do that?

I understand that it defeats the tag cloud purpose, but I use tagclouds for seo reasons, and would like to use the cumulus to present the most important solution pages straight away from the revolving cloud.

Any ideas?

Hi all

I love this snippet.

I am looking to pull the chosen tag through to the landing page as the page title.

Can someone tell me how I can get this string? I noticed in the url it says index.php?id=39&tags=Accommodation

So how can I get the string "Accommodation" and display in my template as a title?

I’m using a snippet called "Seitenueberschrift":

On the landing page the "long title" will be changed, because $_GET[’tags’] is filled (insert following in your template):

[!Seitenueberschrift?ptitle=`[*longtitle*]`!]

Get around by entering tags minimum of twice ie "yourtag, yourtag" instead of "yourtag"

I really really hope this is useful to someone since it my first help post ever on any forum. Love modx

Anyone playing with Revolution here who will be interested by Cumulus?

If so, i can provide early conversion with both jquery and swfobject as snippet parameters.

Need some finition but working.
