wayfinder sub menus not working

I only ever seem to have problems with Way finder :’( :’( :’(

I used [[Wayfinder? &hideSubMenus=`true` &rowTpl=`Navbar` &outerTpl=`noul`]]

I have a structure like this


This code produces a list of links which is perfect on the second level down, but I want the same list that would appear on the second level down, to appear on the third level down also.

So: en/prog displays links for en/prog/music en/prog/sched and en/prog/shows, I want to be able to display those 3 links actually on those 3 pages. So music would have the links for en/prog/music en/prog/sched and en/prog/shows also.

Anyone have any ideas?

Please post your tpl chunks. Maybe there is wrong code.

They’re are blank.

They are their to achieve just a sequence of links instead of a list of links. I don’t think this code isn’t what is causing the problem as it’s to do with the menu level, not the formatting of the links.

Maybe I’m wrong but I think that an empty template produces only links in the first level. You should have the placeholder [+wf.wrapper+] in your tpl where inner content will be inserted. Try this first please.

1) That code works for second level pages... not top level pages as there is only en and cy and all the pages are under that level.
1) Regardless off, and indeed without the TVs it makes no difference as to the fact it’s not displaying anything.

If this doesn’t help please post the HTML you wish to have for your menu AND the current code produced by your WF call. Then I can check the tpl code.

I am not sure you have grasped what my problem is, maybe I should have explained it better. There is nothing wrong with the code that it’s producing. I just want to know how to produce it on a different page. But the code is anyway:

It produces this:

This is exactly what I want it to produce.

BUT it only produces this on the page en/prog

I want to know how to get that exact same code on the pages en/prog/music, en/prog/sched and en/prog/shows.

Basically I want to know how to make it have the startId of the parent (where the parent of music is prog) I don’t want to have to hard code the parent ID in manually into the template because there are so many folders with pages in them.

Ok, I’m a bit confused (maybe my English isn’t good enough). Let’s try some steps to solve this problem.

At first set your call like this:

The UltimateParent snippet sets the startId to the parent document "en". The folder "en" should be UNchecked at "Show in menu".

The "outerTpl" left blank. The "rowTpl" can be like this:
