      The edit-in-place feature with a nice, simple RTE would really be a killer feature for MODx, and put it even further ahead of dinosaurs like typo3.

      Perhaps adding the ability to switch between RTE and raw HTML would be the key, just like in the manager.

        This beyond cool!

        I especially like the concept of InstaEdit, certainly do-able via MODx’s plugin architecture. I personally wouldn’t attempt this though until 0.9.7 since it will come with ajax processors out-of-the-box and make implementing something like this a breeze smiley

          And nice to know... I guess many things are "standby" waiting for the new architecture indeed... Clients love QuickEdit, I don’t even dream what InstaEdit would mean to them (and therefore, me grin)
