Is it just for putting an available menu on a website? Or is it for actually being able to order items, like for a take-home dinner?

If it’s just for creating a menu, then TVs and a bit of organization would be able to handle this quite capably.

it´s only for an available menu on a website, that´s right. The guest shoud look in the hp. It´s only an information what the cafe or restaurant offers.
I´m not the programmer. If I it could I it would have programmed in php, sorry

It doesn’t really take any programming at all. All you need to do is to create a few TVs like price, category, etc. Then you put those TV items on a Template and you’re done. More info on the TVs, Templates and MODx in general can be found in our documentation.

i read the document of Template Variable an search in the forum. It´s a little bit difficult to understand the way. Can you give me a little, little example how i use it to create the menucard Gen? Wich way i must go ? I can´t find the beginning. My head is burn off

When looking at the site you pofided it looks more then a tv thing its a table but that you can search also and organice by food etc.
