MenüCard Generator

Hello,

i´m looking for a menucard-tool. I will integrate a menuecard (Restaurant or Cafe) in modx. I´m looking in the WWW, but i have´t found something near about that.

Can anybody to help me or have an idea? I´m not a php-freak.

What does a menucard-tool do?

is it like a shopping cart but then with food like pinking your dinner from the menu in a restaurant?

@sunflower -- I do not believe anything like this exists prepackaged, or at least I’ve never found it. I would also like to have something like this to sell as an inexpensive solution for local restaurants, so I’ll probably end up authoring something like this when I have proper funding from a client or other interested party to justify time spent on it.

@everyone -- Let me know if you are interested in funding something like this, or if you are a PHP freak who might be willing to contribute something like this to the community.

I seem to be a bit slower here.. Still didn’t quite get that what menucard-tool exactly is..? Is it a tool to create online restaurant menus or what?

That’s what I’m assuming, some kind of online menu builder / manager -- I guess I’m thinking a little fancier with the ability to submit orders and such, sort of like a shopping cart. Can you confirm this is what you are describing sunflower?

Sounds like a basic shopping cart derivative to me.

nice to here from you and i´m very happy to hear that some people is interested at this speacialy tool. My english is not so good. I try to explain what my wish is:

At this moment i bulid a homepage for a cafe´or restaurant. My client will himself to manage his menucard over a user in modx. It sould be very simple.

1. The first is the name of the category about Meal, Drinks ( Fish, Meat, Salat, Soup etc.)
2. The second is the name of Drinks (Coca-Cola, etc.)
3. The third is the description of the second part.
4. The fourth is the price of them.
5. ........
6. ........ and so on .................................... open minds

This sould be to edit and to write in SQL-DB

I hope you can understand me what i mean.

I have told a freind yesterday. He has programming this for another CMS. It´s always finished and run in a homepage in germany http://www.kornhaus.de and he will adapt this tool, but i don´t no it´s so very expensiv. :’(
