Configuration warning: 'GD and/or Zip PHP extensions not found'

I guess I thought that the "and/or" meant I needed one or the other:-)

"GD and/or Zip PHP extensions not found"

I just checked and the hosting service for this particular site does not support Zip PHP extension on their platform. Is there anything I need or should do about this?

2. remove it using the solution on the previous post page
3. tell your host to support it
4. change your host

Is version 1.03 that much better than 1.02? I have added a couple of 1.03 sites and I am getting this problem as well...

Please upgrade for security reasons alone. 1.0.4 will be out soon that resolves the configuration warning.

Hmm... I am getting the warning, but I see captcha graphics and I can upload a file in the manage files tab. Would I be able to do either of those if the warning was valid?

I still get it under 1.0.4.

It’s now an option in the Configuration to only show these to the Admin users.
