Why not reduce the width of the title, and make the ID the only one that’s a fixed width.

Wow ... 1000. If I recall correctly it was 600 before. I can see no harm in making it 630 honestly. The bug list on 1000 isn’t running RC3, which change the hardcoded "and" to a plus-sign, fyi.

Its not about plus sign, its about fixed width.
For long-word languages need more space for buttons.
Increase width or remove.

Finally got a chance to take a quick look at RC3 and I must say it really looks good

I applied my own theme to the manager to test if it would work, and I missed some icons, which should not be a big deal to correct.

But when I logged off, I noticed that the login screen of the manager stays unchanged. Whatever I try, the login screen just keeps the Carbon theme.

I noticed in the style\MODxCarbon folder there’s no login.html file or something like that.

Is the login screen hardcoded somewhere and how can I adjust it to the manager theme of my choice? I noticed that there’s only some inline css, so no chance to apply any other css.

Also another question or suggestion concerns the front end editor (the replacement for Quick Edit I suppose), which looks very slick btw.

Is there a way to hide some fields or tabs on the front end? This is way too much for non-technical front end users (like clients) imho.

hi, I just downloaded the new 1.0-RC3 and installed it from scratch onto my server.

unfortunately, I have to fix line-ending in some of the include-files (empty rows after ?>), e.g. categories.inc.php and user_settings.inc.php.
not shure what’s going wrong since RC2 here? probably, that error might only occours if you install a new system?
