    Will there be a message, or this bug updated when version.inc.php has been corrected?

          I just downloaded and updated my website with version.inc.php modifiied and it is still wrong. How can we update this version number ?

                It worked for me. I cleared the cache of MODx, cleared my browser cache, logged out, and logged back in and it was set to 1.0.4.

                  I’m also getting this error in Configuration:

                  Configuration warning: 'GD and/or Zip PHP extensions not found'

What does this mean?
MODx needs the GD and Zip extension enabled for PHP. While MODx will work without them, you will not be able to take full advantage of the built-in File Manager, Image Editor or Captcha for logins.


                  But when I look at phpinfo (PHP Version 5.2.12):

                  --with-gd


                  Is present in the configure command and:

                  gd

GD Support	enabled
GD Version	bundled (2.0.34 compatible)
GIF Read Support	enabled
GIF Create Support	enabled
JPG Support	enabled
PNG Support	enabled
WBMP Support	enabled
XPM Support	enabled
XBM Support	enabled


                  Is enabled.

                  As for Zip it has gzip enabled.

                  The error doesn’t appear in a 1.0.2 install on the same server.

                    I was hoping this error would be resolved as well. It started popping up in 1.03. Here is the work around:

                    I don’t believe it inhibits any functionality other than being able to unzip file within the file manager. SO you can either ignore, or use the work around above.

                      From that I use the ’Alternate Method’ - did a 103-104 this morning and it worked fine.
