multiItemsGridTV now on github for testing

Hi there,

I have been developing a new site on revo 2.0.4 using the multiItem plugin and it worked ok. AFter upgrading to 2.0.5, It seems a bug has creeped in. When I go to the resources that have the tv with type as multiItem, it shows me this error

Seems that the multiitems.tpl is not compatible with 2.0.5?

Ok, I added {/literal} to the end of the multiitems.tpl and it seems to be working..Thanks. Is the multiItemsGridTV a replacement for multiItems?

It doesn’t behave like the normal fields in width while resize your browser window. Even not when removing this line of code.
Isn’t there a policy for those elements to their width/resize behaviour in extJS? Or, I’m just to dumb...

if you only need simple text-inputs use multiItemsTV.

If you want to use TV-input-types (date,richtext,autotag,dropdown,custom-input-types..............) try multiItemsGridTV.
Storage-format is the same.
Both use Json-format.

i use a plugin mp3 with this TV,

all work fine, mp3 load perfectly, but in table i can’t clic for playing or pause.

i have a problem with width of columns :

i use modx 206 and your last version on github.

in properties i have a value for width.

i use multiitemsgrid for 5 TV

I’m and lost

I have read this topic 3 times (at least) gone through the wiki a doz times. Everything is copied to the server (triple checked) . Followed wiki exactly and using all default example properties.

However all I have is a empty grid with the Title and Image columns rendered and a button to "Add Items". There is no pop-up, no way to enter anything. Clicking "Add Items" simply adds a new blank record to the grid.

I also have Bruno’s original multiItemTV installed (and love it), could they be conflicting???

@aesmith: ’Add’ an item. Right/control/alt/something + click the row you want to edit, should popup edit... click that...

Thank you so so much for this.

Not into all this MODx hiding things behind right clicks. Is there a reason other then preference? My left click seems to be available cause its not doing anything currently. Why? Why? this goes for many areas of the manager, and Bruno I guess is just following along so nothing on him or his app.

I suppose I kind of share in this gripe. It occurred to me today while playing with the ’new’ form customization setup... Maybe an icon or even just treatment to denote right clickability... Untill then I’ll just be right clicking everything...

Btw, new ’simplified’ form customization - i’m not a big fan so far. Seems like a lot less customizability... Anyone know how to reorder the tabs on the edit resource page? I’m not having any luck.
