No prob. Make sure to keep a watch on Fisheye (http://svn.modxcms.com/crucible/browse/modx), as the Revolution branch is updated pretty frequently (4-5 times daily on average, sometimes more).

Just took update on the svn and got blown off my chair. I mean this is nice. Dark themes are hard to do right. But this has that something.

At first I looked at it as there was really something wrong. A quick look at the FishEye and rebuild and upgrade later everything seems to be right.

Couple of things that I don’t like. Corners are a bit too round. And the submenus are a little too ... invisible is not the right word for this. They seem to jump from nowhere. And they are a bit detached from the top level.

But keep it going. I’m really looking forward at Revolution release day.

I did the first commit in my life laugh

See branch revolution-design (http://svn.modxcms.com/crucible/changelog/modx/branches?cs=4525) for the changes. A lot of work to do, Ext is quite new for me and behaves like my pregnant wife tongue

See attached screen from my status.

            What is done:

            - tabs (only the first look, behaviour isnt correct yet)
            - Round corner around content
            - Meta Menu
            - some smaller changes

            What not:

            - menu behaviour
            - icons
            - tree should cover the tree icon in the meta menu
            - all ext generated styling (tables, inner tabs etc.)
            - tree styling
            - and a lot more.

If someone could checkout the branch and take a look especially with other browsers than linux/FF3.0 ... thx smiley

I really would advocate loosing the green border around the entire page ... at the top it’s great as it separates the navigation from the content, but in this case I think the fewer visual distractions from the content the better. Great work!

Did you say you were committed to the modx asylum?

No real technical difference to the manager berore, just a line to sum it up. Visually.. wink

I don’t mind the line in the last screen shot, but I have haven’t had a moment to test the layout personally so I can’t say if it will grow on me or what not.

While I agree that it does surround the content pane, I think the majority consensus prefers the layout without the surrounding line. I personally could see a lot of resolution, javascript, and rendering problems with having the line.
