TV's for varying page layouts

Okay, richtext-tvs.

So i could create some richtext-tvs, say

* box.top
* box.mid_left
* box.mid_right
* box.btm_left
* box.btm_mid
* box.btm_right

and then check in the template if a tv of the above is empty or not and display (or dont display on emty) the boxes.

I have to look for the syntax to check tvs emtpyness, but isnt that a way to create the OPs layout?

Using categories for the tvs can make this even more userfriendly

One cat for top, one for middle, one for bottom...

what I undestand, she wants to add multiple rows, where the user can choose between three different layouts for each row.
I think like that:

this can easy be done with MIGX by just cklicking: add item -> in the window choose one of three layouts by dropdown -> fill the upcoming fields -> click done

they can add/edit and sort the items at any time, all in one TV

Okay, Bruno17, for the fun of it, i’m trying to set this up.

Bruno17, is there a way to place the Formname dropdown outside of the tabpanel?

for now, not. It is allways placed on the first tab. But you can try to add an empty tab.

seems there is something very strange with this package. This did mess my tinyMCE and more.
when installing I got:
