    Try setting phpthumb_document_root to /home/www/websites/domain.com/ and phpthumb_allow_src_above_docroot to yes.
    not resolve.
    the only solution I found is to edit as I said before :/

      Hope I was descriptive enough to highlight that there indeed is an issue.

        Issue Summary. This occurs, in my case, only if the TV image is assigned a media Source with the following parameters

        myCustomMS:

        basePath: assets/templates/templatename/images/products/
        basePathRelative: true
        baseUrl: assets/templates/templatename/images/products/
        baseUrlRelative: true
        .....

        Modx revo 2.2.0 pl
        Installation in subfolder www.domain.com/subfolder/

              phpthumb document_root setting seem to have no effect at all.
              The only solution i found is to hardcode the absolute path into core/model/phpthumb/phpthumb.class.php at line 1025
              replacing
              $AbsoluteFilename = $this->config_document_root.$filename;
              by
              $AbsoluteFilename = "/home/domain/www" . $filename;

                As far as I know, this has been a problem for a long time.

                  And still is a problem. I just implemented Babel 2.2.5 with Revo 2.2.5 and am getting the same error.

                      Same problem here (revo 2.2.5-pl tradi., phpThumbOf 1.4.0).

                      The solution pointed at by sonicpunk is interesting but it's partial and as bad as any other ones as it creates other issues. More details on the other thread.
