    That did the trick for me thanks Shaun. Adding template plugin worked as expected too. Nice work.

    Was really excited to find drag and drop resources to create hyperlinks started working for me - but it was a little too soon to celebrate. Not sure if you’re aware of this but drag and drop inserts a hyperlink with the manager URL to edit the resource, together with a bunch of <span> tags.

    <a class="x-tree-node-anchor" tabindex="1" href="manager/?a=30&amp;id=1"><span id="extdd-6">Home <span dir="ltr">(1)</span></span></a>

    Any ideas?

      Ha, no. Drag/drop with TinyMCE has always been incredibly buggy. I’ll take a look at it, but it’s pretty low-priority at the moment. If you want, the code is on line 12 of: assets/components/tinymce/tiny.js

      You might have to inspect the ’v’ value and see what it’s returning, and make sure it’s passing the correct stuff to "tinyMCE.execCommand(’mceInsertContent’,false,v);".

      I’ll take a look at sometime in the future.

        Hello, with good hope I have updated to Tiny 4.0.2 and my special CSS for the editor window wont really load.

        The path for CSS in the editor window is for example:
        http://www.my-URL/assets/components/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/themes/advanced/skins/cikuit/content.css?v=208pl

        Seems a bit strange. What to do? embarrassed

        [Update] Ok, changed the name of external editor.css, deleted the cache and it works.
        Some style rules wont work but need to be specified more. Lets try…

          Shaun, I have 4.2.0 pl. The missing content field is fixed, but the buttons still don’t work in the front end. It’s the same old JS error on line 170 of tiny js when you click on a TinyMCE toolbar button:

          Ext.getCmp("modx-panel-resource") is undefined
          [Break On This Error] Ext.getCmp('modx-panel-resource').markDirty();

          If you need a test bed for it, just install NewsPublisher and use this tag:

          [[!NewsPublisher?
             &initrte=`1`
             &rtcontent=`1`
             &rtsummary=`1`
          ]]

          [Update]: Bruno17’s fix in my post above works again, but it would be nice it it was in the code. wink

            Can you file it in github? I’ll get to it in the next release.

              I put it up as a pull request some time ago. What happened to that?

              [Update] Second pull request submitted on this has been merged intro 2.4.1.

                I see there’s a 4.2.1 in Package Management. I installed it (on my local testing site), however, got several of these errors (see attached file). In the end though, the buttons work fine though not everything tested. Still worried about the errors so I went back to 4.1.2.

                  Wow, looks quite shocking! I’ve seen nothing of these errors.
                  A bit annoying is that after I save some text there are no more line breaks and also my personal editor.css does not work. Only if I click on another resource entry and come back to the first one all was formated like I want.

                    Oh I realise I have 2.07 on my local setup. I will install 2.08 then completely remove tinymce, then add it back again.

                      Did you try it with 2.0.8?
