URGENT: Startpage disappears - white and blank

Does the problem appear if and when you turn the cache off complete for the page (and the snippet calls inside it)?

Tried http://www.ellen.pandorafilm.com/index.php?id=1.0 and it worked instantly (maybe it’s pure coincidence though since someone might be working on the site the same time). Suppose index.php?id=1.0 can cure this symptom then the bug might be in the routing instead of cache?

What is the id of the Error Page setting? See System/System Settings.
What happens if you change it to let’s say 2. Do you get page id 2 when you access http://www.ellen.pandorafilm.com/index.php?id=1.0

This might help the MODx team track the issue.

tried id 2,3,4 all working ,tried some arbitrary numbers and got blank pages just like id 1, that’s when I suspect 1 as an integer might somehow being mishandled by routing in situations and tried 1.0 instead.

Did you also changed the Error Page setting to 2?

This sounds like a great idea since there are resources with the ids 2,3,4! I added that as a suggestion to the bug report http://bugs.modx.com/issues/3111.

I don’t know how this misinterpretation happens but I had it on 2.0.0 to 2.0.6-pl2 and with different hosters.

Oliver, http://ellen.pandorafilm.com is running Revo 2.0.0 ... we need a demonstration of the failure on the current release (2.0.6-pl2). I personally have seen similar things happen on versions prior to 2.0.5. With 2.0.0 I can almost promise you’ll run into problems at some point.
