Error messages ext-all.js, invalid XML and MODx.perm is undefined

That is the proper thing to; when you move a MODx site you need to run setup in upgrade mode, or go through http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Moving+Your+Site+to+a+New+Server

I’m sorry for my late reply, but I’ve tried to get modx running for weeks, without any result. The technical support team of our web hoster failed, too.

So, swallow the bitter pill and switching to another cms? Yes, and sorry we did that! The new decision www.cmsmadesimple.org - upload, setup, runs perferctly. cool

... sorry forgotten to post, in my case I’ve never moved the site, it was always a fresh installation of modx.
