    These are the actual file contents, seems that they weren’t the same after all but rather similar, hence my mistake telling they were the same, my bad, sorry sad

    Does this looks normal?

    public_html/config.core.php:
    <?php
    define('MODX_CORE_PATH', dirname(__FILE__) . '/core/');
    define('MODX_CONFIG_KEY', 'config');

    public_html/manager/config.core.php:
    <?php
    define('MODX_CORE_PATH', dirname(dirname(__FILE__)) . '/core/');
    define('MODX_CONFIG_KEY', 'config');

    public_html/connectors/config.core.php:
    <?php
    define('MODX_CORE_PATH', dirname(dirname(__FILE__)) . '/core/');
    define('MODX_CONFIG_KEY', 'config');

    public_html/setup/includes/config.core.php:
    <?php
    define ('MODX_CORE_PATH', MODX_INSTALL_PATH . 'core/');
    define ('MODX_CONFIG_KEY', 'config');
    define ('MODX_SETUP_KEY', '@traditional');

      Those are all normal.

      When you get the "page not found" message, what URL is it looking for?

      Do you have friendly URLs turned on (and is there an .htaccess file in the root)?

        After extracting files via cPanel file manager and running setup, immediately after "Installation Summary" (http://domain.com/setup/index.php?action=install) page it fails with "Page not found".

        Yeah, i have FURL’s turned on and .htaccess but same happens without .htaccess or with MODxs’ default one so i excluded that as an possible problem.

        Also, with FURL’s off it all happens again.

        Weird..

          It sounds like maybe one or more files are missing or corrupted in the FTP process, or your FTP program failed to overwrite existing files (some do).

          BTW, I always turn off FURLS and rename .htaccess to ht.access before upgrading, just to take that issue out of the equation.

            well idk, i uploaded archive via cPanel and extracted it via cPanel’s file manager, lasst time i was upgrading from 2.0.0 to 2.0.2 it went quite straight forward, no problems at all..

            maybe i should wait for 2.0.4 to go out and try then..
            thank you for your time and suggestions Bob, you rock!

              I wish I could have been more helpful. I recently upgraded to 2.0.3 and ran into some issues, but nothing related to what you’re experiencing.

                well, what to do..

                i’ll remember this to make a mirrored copy of a website on a subdomain for testing purposes and if upgrade goes ok on test, it will be on production one too..

                    Just upgraded to 2.0.4 without problems.
                    Could it be the server? Any file permission issues?

                      not that im aware of, also, server requirements aren’t changed from 2.0.2 and MODx site im talking about is hosted on place recommended by MODx itself, Site5. previous upgrades worked just fine, something went wrong with upgrade to 2.0.3 and i can’t out what.
