where we are it’s raining so it would be good to work on Revo
but thanks to the l.. provider we will work on our Filemaker iPhone-app in stead
we favor Apple BTW, not because of anything technical or the usual nerd-talk, multi-functional etc..
blah blah, but we found in 1985 already on pure human practical grounds that ordinary people
[a vast part of society has never been on a keyboard, their profession didn’t ask for it, computers are too difficult etc.
and an even larger part still today is a one - two finger typist..]
well that sort of ordinary non-technical people, management and senior citizens and children and many professions,
found the UI of Mac something they could work with.
The same goes for iPhone and iPad today, we -you and I- don’t need them as we have other stuff, laptops etc.,
and can play around in the other OS’s, but a vast majority of society has still no access to IT or it’s applications.
Here the iPhone is a success with people who have had difficulties with these small cell-phones,
they never grasped sms etc. and now they can send messages and have access to internet etc...
a miracle..
it is all in the UI
and this is why websites and thus MODx -among other things, incl. Revo- is so important.

without any comments this afternoon I found the following settings:
max_execution_time 120
memory_limit 128M
register_globals Off
safe_mode Off
and succesfully installed Revo!
like a charm no difficulty whatsoever!
So, let the Games commence!
