Problems installing modx2.0.0pl

Thanks for the reply.

The page returned by phpinfo() says:

PDO support enabled
PDO drivers mysql, sqlite, sqlite2

I thought this looked like I was OK on the PDO front. I’m wrong then?

The problem is likely related to the location of the mysql socket file.

Thanks all, I’m now up and running. I’d written an extended description of how I did it, but it appears to have gotten lost. Key was getting my PDO_mysql straight in my php.ini and reaccessing the page by navigating back and then forward to the database details page again rather than simply refreshing it. Much obliged.
