I also am stuck at
Create or test selection of your database. I am XAMPP for Mac OS X 1.7.3, 2010/03/04 Mac 10.6.4. I read in other parts of the forum that an install of Evolution may be the answer. Is that a better solution than trying to get Revolution to work?
I am absolutely new to Modx, would love to try it after hearing good things.
I only work on not for profit sites and unfortunately one of my boards has decided that they want their site changed to CMS and as I am really reluctant to try and adapt (or start again) with something like wordpress I see Modx as an alternative solution.
