Customize the manager in Revo

I’ve added the values you suggested but it’s still not hiding the field.

My full settings are:

Action: resource/staticresource/create
User Group: mygroup
Description: ...
Name: hidemenu
Containing Panel: modx-panel-resource
Rule: Field Visible
Value: 0
Constraint Class: modResource
Constraint Field: hidemenu
Constraint: modStaticResource

Rather baffling. If I change the action to resource/create the field will be hidden but it is applied to all resources.

Which file controls/creates the Ext.onReady functions?

Disregard the question above. I’ve looked at the database and found the modx_actions & modx_actiondom tables which contain the data I was looking for.

It seems as though when creating a static resource the action is set to 51 by default rather then 48 (?a=51&class_key=modStaticResource). If I change it to 48 the field is hidden. If I want to change the links in the menu for New Static Resource as well as the Resource icon button does it require a core update or can it be set through the manager screen?

Also, your Constraint Field should be ’class_key’, not ’hidemenu’.
