Should I upgrade to 2.1.1? when having permission errors in 2.1.0 rc-4

I have a lot of permission errors with 2.1.0 rc-4

Now I want to upgrade to 2.1.1 is this wise... or is it better to solve the permission errors in rc4 and then upgrade?
Will an upgrade set the right permission on files and folders?

Have you checked or changed the permission on the core/cache folder itself? I’d try deleting everything in the core/cache folder, then make sure the cache folder itself is writable by the web process. The cache will rebuild itself.
If you can solve the permission problem before upgrading, it may help things from becoming confusing.

I have tried that before the core/cache forder has permission 775 and when I remove all files/folders inside it rebuilds all files/folders again so it must be writable by the web process.

Also I alway’s cant remove the rss folder when deleting and have to move it out of the cache folder.

I have just deleted the cache folder and changed the permission to 777 still getting errors.

Also no difference with installing extra’s

Drives me mad this permission problem, really don’t know how to fix this issue.

Does the file batcher-1.1.1-pl.transport.zip exist and can you open it if you download it to your computer?
Do your core/packages and core/components folders also have the same permissions as core/cache?

I changed core/packages and core/components with permission 777 but still errors

I tried to open batcher-1.1.1-pl.transport.zip on my mac and it is corrupted, but still got permission errors when removing other extras
