Home Page ID Bug?

i duplicated the homepage, and deleted the old one. the new home page is ID=24.
i set site-start to 24.
when i browse to http://bayviewfootprints.org, i get "page not found"
when i browse to http://bayviewfootprints.org/24.html, i get "page not found"

did that. only getting homepage when i include ID in url. still not getting homepage when i browse to domain root.

Is 24 published? Have you messed with permissions or contexts at all?

yes, its published, and it loads if i include id in url.

When I go there, I get a message saying the site is under construction, not "page not found."

when i browse to http://bayviewfootprints.org/24.html, i get "page not found"
That’s normal with FURLs off.

Do you maybe have an index.htm or index.html file in the root of the site?

that was it!

but now i get a directory listing when i browse to domain root :/

You need php.ini file with:

ha, no i don’t just needed to change index.php.old back to index.php

IMHO, both the installer and the manager should alert the admin about the existing of a conflicting index.html file

(note, The index.php was properly named all along, that was not the issue.)
