cannot change templates after upgrade to 2.1.0-pl

all that does not works fo me.
at first i was on revo 2.1.5.
now i installed 2.2.0 pl2 from scratch.
and still i can`t edit Home resource or change it`s template.
right after installation i changed
System Settings->Default Time Zone to Europe/Moscow
then go to resources->Home and edit some fields (should it be some specific field, or any of them?).
then i`m changing template to a newly created.
still the same problem - when trying to apply changes it stucks with message:
please wait...
saving...

That sounds like a different problem. The problem described here is not being able to reload Resource editor with a changed template. Nothing about an AJAX error while saving which is what you are experiencing.
