Troubles after trying to upgrade to 2.1pl

I tried to upgrade to 2.1pl and had some troubles with the folder core "could not move core" I think because I choose to overwrite vs merge?
So I decided to erase everything and placed back my backup with 2.1.0 rc-4, but now the front pages are blank also the manager login page.
I have erased everything inside the cache folder, but still everything is blank.

The first time I visited the website (after putting back the 2.1.0 rc-4 backup) I could see the index page but other pages where given an error something with xpdo (about memory, but not sure), so I cleared browser cache, and now the whole website and manager login page is blank.

Plz Help I almost had finished my project...argh!

Did your backups also affect the database?

Is there anything in the error log? (it’s also at core/cache/logs/error.log)

I did also a mysql dump from the rc4 installation but did not have imported it back again should I?
I have no logs map inside core/cache/ in backup

It may’ve been modified by the 2.1 upgrade script (not sure if there were any specific changes, but it’s possible), so if you’re trying to get back to an older state: yeah.

I’m wondering why it should be trying to move the core. Are you using the advanced distro?

Can you also post these details?

If you’re posting about a bug, please state all of your Environment information in your post: Version of MODx, Traditional or Advanced distribution (for Revo), Server OS, Server Version, PHP Version, MySQL Version (client and server), is pdo_mysql installed, your Browser type and version, if you are using any opcode caching such as eAccelerator, APC, winCache, xCache, etc; any relevant errors in core/cache/logs/error.log, and any other environment data we should know. We can’t help you without that information.

MODX Revolution 2.1.0-rc4 (traditional)
PHP: 5.3.6-6~dotdeb.0
MySQL: mysqlnd 5.0.8-dev - 20102224 - $Revision: 308673 $
pdo_mysql is installed

After the release of 2.1 rc4 I worked with it with no trouble

Is your site back online now on rc4? That’s priority #1 - only if that works you can try to upgrade again. (imo)

Delete cache files & check error log?

Also check the apache error log
