Hi there, I have upgraded from 2.07 to 2.1 this evening. Everything is working fine except when trying to save a document or change a template the save is hanging... Anyone know a fix for this?

I also got this issue and it was on my upgraded version aswell. To fix it I created a new document with the same content and saved it and then deleted the old document. It was something to do with that particular document...
Firebug reported an error in EXTjs - n.submit is not a function.
I can’t even save a new document or change any templates it just keeps hanging. I’m gonna try and install it again this afternoon i think, maybe I did something wrong.

Make sure your database table is not corrupted or "locked". PHPmyAdmin should help you with this.
Also, clear your browser cache and the site cache before the upgrade. These should not be the culprits, as they were fixed some time ago.
Hey wshawn thanks for your help, i’m currently rolling back to 2.07 so I can do a fresh upgrade. Shall I upgrade to 2.08 first then go up to 2.1? Will that help at all?

Should not matter. Everything after 2.05 is pretty straight forward.
Though it would not hurt.

I would suggest clearing the browser cache after the upgrade. If a javascript file has been updated, your browser may still be caching the original version and keeps trying to use the cached version instead of fetching the new version.
Yeah i tried it on different browsers and cleared my cache. I am back on 2.07 now but will try the upgrade again over the weekend. I have ssh access to te server now so shoul be smoother, I don’t trust FTP to get all the files.
This is really strange.
I eventually upgraded to 2.11 after what happened last week. The save is still not working! Well it kind of is as it does save the document however the grey box is still overlayed and looks like its still saving. This only happens on my resources, I can save chunks etc no problem.
I thought it could be FC’s however I disabled them, no luck... I have also upgraed all my package extras cleared every cache imaginable, turned off DB caching.
Does anyone have any othr suggestions?
