I’ve got a container resource full of resources. I want to copy it and its children exactly, so I ’duplicate’, but it applies ’Duplicate of’ on the front of every resource.
In Evolution (which I used for quite some time), it only changed the name of the parent element you are copying to ’Duplicate of’. But Revolution changes all the children to ’Duplicate of’ as well. This is annoying, as I have to go through and change the page title of each one manually!
I’m using Rev 2.1.2. Any advice is very much appreciated.

Ah, that’s brilliant. Yes, took me a little while to work out the cache thing! Thank you. You’ve saved me countless hours!
One more thing: The children that are being duplicated have all head their menu index set. But when I duplicate them, the copy re-numbers all the menu-indexes. Any idea why?
This is a bit more complicated.
I think you can create a plugin for OnResourceDuplicate read the menueindexes from all oldResources and save them back to the new created ones.
I think that’s a little bit too involved for something that’s not terribly important for me. Would be a nice have though I guess.

I believe you can just create / define the
preserve_menuindex system setting.
