What is wrong with MODx Team Members?

No harm done, I just wanted to be sure I didn’t actually do something that stupid without knowing it... could have been possible though, I have not slept much this past month...

Isn’t he great? Apparently he’s a world class whistler. And he does his live concerts by himself, by on-stage recording loops and playing them as he goes. It’s incredible.

Soo... is there any announcement that needs to be made to the team? I’m unable to read the thread so I can’t get a context, but I would guess someone was exposing vulnerabilities in our system?

I always try to keep discussions like that in the "Project Team" section of the forums. On the public side, I even go as far as referring to people by their usernames rather than the informal first name like I will in the team forum

No announcement needed; the issue was simply a member of the team posting public frustration over the fact that a patched version was not made available fast enough on the main download page. If it had been an upset non-team member, I wouldn’t have had an issue with it.

Regardless, I’m over it and I think my point was made. Please take up such issues internally first and then present them publicly; I don’t mind someone calling me to say hey, where’s the damn patch you fool, but don’t like it much when those questions are posed in a public forum unless previous private communications were ignored.

I know I have a problem with that; my eyes are not all that great any more (even with glasses) so I tend to not even notice which forum a topic is in since I’m too busy focusing on the message itself. I’ll have to make an effort to pay more attention.

Maybe the Project Team sections could have some visible indicator that reminded us of their privacy.
