What is wrong with MODx Team Members?

Why is this being discussed like this in the open forum? We have plenty of private forum space here to make these discussions useful without calling each other out to the community. Every single person in that thread is a team member. WTF? Yes Ryan created the distribution and didn’t do everything correctly, but let’s not expose our weaknesses in public for no reason.

Well, I have a hangnail, a very unattractive appendectomy scar, and a sore shoulder from overdoing it in a canoe yesterday. I’m also judgmental, quick to leap to conclusions, and intolerant of people who whistle.

I would blame it on PMS, but I haven’t had that for years...

Since I am one of the team member involved in this (and probably the most responsible)... I plead guilty as charged

I could have warned a moderator to move (or remove) the post, and have been less open about it (I have been known to be too opened) but I’ll make sure to be careful in the future about this kind of thing, sorry Jason.

Perhaps we could create a Security child board in the private forums (under Testing, Releases, and QA) that can be used to discuss security issues within the team - keeps everything organised that way.

Agreed garryn; and I’m also going to be creating some semi-private issue security schemes in JIRA so we can work on critical security issues collaboratively without disclosing attack vectors to the public.

I am Ok to admit to being too open, but I don’t think any attack vector was disclosed in that thread or was there ?
If I had seen this, even I would have reacted... I sure think Ryan would have...

RIght, sorry, wasn’t trying to confuse the issues here; the attack vectors was totally different topic from grilling each other in public about the slow response time.

No apologies necessary; I don’t hold grudges, just speak my mind, sometimes without any tact...
