Oh, man....you suck! I feel like I’m about to cry! Do you realize how much research I’ve done on looking for a suitable replacement? I’d just about given up looking and decided to build one myself (a task I wasn’t looking for to, by the way). I think you hit the nail right on the head! Looks really cool and might be just the ticket for the resource browser. Thanks for the tip!

Jeff you couldn’t possibly have found this one, was released just yesterday !

One thing I noticed is requirement include PERL 5.8.0 though... will that be a problem (I hope not !!!)

Perl is just used for the file upload progress bar.

Glad I could help. Like what david said, it’s a new system, but it has great potential in it. Maybe we can work together with the author, and it will be beneficial for both community.

Yeah, the PERL part is similar to the requirement of the progress bar in our current resource browser. I can probably hack it to where it uses a PHP based one though. Might as well experiment with it and submit a suggestion to the Relay guys.

I think a PHP progress bar that actually returns the real file upload progress would be an incredible feat indeed. (I’ve looked for one for years; they do not exist to date.)
