Forum Theme Suggestions

Zi, good job for creating this nice layout.
Can I ask for a favor please? Maybe this could solve someone else problem as well.

Can you make the textarea for writing a post a little smaller in terms of the height? It’s filling up most of my laptop screen when posting. I understand the nees of big textarea, but if we could make the test a little bit smaller, then it will fill just fine with a smaller textarea.

Another thing will be to add more black percentage on the left and right side of the forum template. Make it 10% on each side will do just fine, so it will make a better feeling with the current MODx site, it also add more pleasant feeling when seeing the site, it doesn’t looks like the forum beng stretched too much.

I think the hover idea is great except for two things.

1. The borders are too thick so when you hover its kind of overkill.

2. The hover color should be green instead of blue.

Textarea fixed, and will be installed soon. For black part, I’ve added 30px padding on both sides (60px total).

thanks a lot Zi. I can see you’re pretty busy with this new theme, because I didn’t see your post a lot in the forum.

I just have one suggestion to make (not high on priority list) : I think the quote’s header is a bit flashy and stands out when I read threads it’s the first thing I see (my eyes get drawn to it).

Could the .quoteheader background-color (#9c3) be made a little clearer (say, something like #9c6) ?
