Forum Theme Suggestions

Might I make the following suggestions:

1. Fix the blue highlight when you mouseover an imput in FF (it gets really annoying after a few minutes:

2. Remove/Lighten the border around signeratures and make the signerature background a little darker instead.

3. Fix this:



4. Make the second line have a slightly differant bg color (if possible) for this:



5. Install a mobile device friendly theme for those of us who surf with these devices.

6. Fix the spellchecker’s colors.

Also, can we fix the numbers on the Member List pagination system so they are white? http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?action=mlist

I have two issues with using the new forum theme, and the first makes using the forums very difficult for me...

[1] In the Post Reply form, the Subject text input and Message textarea input are about 200% of my browser width, so when I type replies, I have to scroll vertically in order to follow my paragraphs (like I am now when editing my post . Is nobody else experiencing this? [NOTE: there is a similar issue for me on the blog comments Subject text input] I’m trying it in FF 1.5 and FF 1.0.7, and both display the same behavior on all replies.
[2] Can we have NEW icons back in the What’s been going on?/Recent Topics section? I miss that feature the most right now.

Other than that, it looks really nice and professional, though I’m starting to agree we could maybe tone down the black, here and on the main site theme.

Well, nevermind on #1 -- apparently my fonts are just FUBAR’d on my desktop, cause it doesn’t happen on my laptop, and every browser exhibits the behavior, including IE7b2 on my desktop.

And for other, I think it needs a hack ... ... You have 2 choices,

1. Teach me php from grounds up.
2. Ask someone other or just do it.

Yeah, very wierd, I deleted all my fonts and copied the ones I really need back in and everything works fine now. I guess either Windows and OpenType fonts don’t get along (was using a great looking font called Myriad Web before), or I had some corrupted files. Who knows...anyway, all is good with the theme now.

I’ll see if I can help get the NEW icons back on the Latest Topics...but probably not until tomorrow, as I have a drumming gig tonight

BTW, is there any way to see All unread posts? Used to be in Simplicity, if I viewed a list of unread posts since last visit, I could choose to then view all unread posts, but I can’t find that option here...?

On another note, I’ve been comparing the main support site with the forums and I must agree with the community that there is quite a bit more black (and consequently less whitespace) on the forums.

Can you direct me to the template file of "Recent Posts" and "Spell Checker" ? and what is annoying feeling you get ? Do you want the hover sutff go away ?

...and by the way, what happened to your spellings in first post ?
