I see your point. That error was generated inside the makeUrl() function.

I’ll try to add some additional features to the parser to indicate the current tag that was processed when the error was generated.

Just updated the parser to beta 2a. Fixed caching issues with broken snippets/plugins

Great news Raymond, just downloaded it (apparently I am the first !) Does that mean the parser cache related issues are fixed ?

If so, could it still be possibly be part of 0.9.5 ?

I just went and checked out his Raymond’s branch to see some of the other updates - so far, the parser has been problem-free, works a treat!

That’s crossed my mind... and was the inspiration for the statement... Definitely not 095 though... too big a change too close to the end.

Yeah well, in the mean time, I guess some of us will enjoy doing some heavy testing of the parser with 0.9.5, I sure will do !

Anyway, it could be a nice ammunition there, having an intermediate release between 0.9.5 and the awesome jump to 0.9.7 with backported code from 1.0. The new parser’s addition would warrant a release of its own... as Doze says, 0.9.6 ? I love the idea !

I too would not expect the parser to be release in 095 as it’s still in beta but I’m hoping to release a public beta somtime next week with a some unit testing so that it can be easily tested within other environments.

By the way, there are only three files needed from Raymond’s branch if you’d like to test it (the rest are now in trunk):
