  This has been fixed. It was due to the way we process the image on upload, so now if the image is smaller than 600 x 600 we keep the original size for the lightbox display. This will only work with new images added.

  The star rating on the overview page (where you can’t vote for it) should also probably fall down into the "main" description block, proably at the top-right across from the name/author. The top block is all action items and makes me want to be able to vote from there. This would let us then have all the action links in one nice row, that probably belongs under the description block... thoughts?

  I must say : Gary and Kyle, you’ve done of hell of a job with this project !
  
  I don’t know if a release for the snippet behind the repository is planned, but if it is, I think this kind of snippet could warrant a "bounty" system e.g the snippet gets released once donations for it have reached a given amount.
  
  I am pretty sure most people would be willing to chip 5 or 10$ or more to get this one released !
  
  Some heavy duty snippet/module/plugin coders could get some reward for the time spent this way... I am thinking Ditto, Replix, ShopX, MaxiGallery, Autolink and I sure forget lot of goodies in that list. I know it’s always a fine line for opensource projects, but I think it would be worth exploring having a Paypal button for modules/plugins/snippet in the repository (and here I am suggesting more work !).
  
  Heavy duty module/plugins/snippets could be released with the bounty system, and any module/plugin/snippet could receive donations at any time. Little amounts with many users could help our friends developpers, wouldn’t it ?
  
  Now there is always the matter of being careful introducing money in the open source community equation, and I am not sure how that would play... What do you think ?

  The repository consists of a LOT of stuff and is not an inconsequential amount of work. I’m all for releasing it though. In fact, I’m all for releasing a complete "Open Source Support Site in a Box" kit, with Flyspray, Forums and everything else preconfigured.

  Why do I feel like I have said something very stupid (and should not have gotten out of bed and turned on my computer) ?
  
  Should I nuke my last post away or burry myself in sand ?!?
  Anyway, my intent was NOT to discard the amount of work put into this... not in a million light years... sorry if it came out that way !
  
  (When I talked about 5 or 10$ it sure wasn’t for the total amount of the bounty -> just to make sure I didn’t sound THAT stupid..)

  Question: if we have tags, why not just include the Modules/Plugins/Snippets/Etc. stuff as tags instead of having separate code to filter and more visual elements to digest?
  
  Tags are a perfect application for this type of categorization, and it would make the interface slightly less cluttered. I think we should maintain the checkboxes for setting them up as they’re important, but I’m a fan of a more simple presentation with less to mentally process.

  I think separating them the way we have now is adventageous because it provides a clear visual separation between each type of resource and doesn’t force the user to read the tags.

  I’m not advocating getting rid of a one-click access to those types via the filter buttons, but upon further though, maybe I am... In reality, does anyone care what type of resource it is if it accomplishes an intended function?
  
  I would find it very difficult to believe that somene would say, "Gee it’d be a great solution but won’t work for me because it’s a plugin/TV/whatever..."
  
  It very much makes sense from a programming point of view and taxonomy/categorization, but people define their needs by functional requirements typically, not solution category/taxonomy.
  
  In other words, we’re so hung up on our own familiarity with snippets/plugins/modules/chunks/etc. that we may be trapped in that paradigm. New users and people looking for solutions may not know where to search. Further, what about complex solutions that include more than one type of resource. What value does a dedicated icon add over a tag?
