  Okay, I’ve made a few updates to the Repository.
  
  1. The homepage links will now point to the main resource page if it is a release, for extras, it will still point to the specific extra page.
  2. A link to the support thread has now been added to the specific release pages.

  Regarding #2, it seems that this change has induced a number of CSS issues in Firefox with the star-rating bit. Is there a way to avoid this and still have the support thread link?

  Mark, can you give more information - star rating is working fine for me.
  
  At the moment, #2 isn’t coming into play as there are currently no releases that have archived releases, so the specific release pages aren’t accessible.

  HTML post issue
  I’ve had a quick go at directing people to/from the new threads and the old threads. I had intended to edit the top post, but it seems that this is created in straight HTML; if I edit it it screws up. I don’t get any option whether I have my HTML parsed and assume that is because I don’t have the right privileges. I intended to advise authors to link to other support material in their auto-generated top post - they would be able to edit it themselves because it is "their" post.
  
  But seemingly many of them would not be allowed HTML - so they’d have to change the formatting of the existing text in order for it to work, which is a bit of a pain. Is it possible to change the way these posts are created so they are more easily editable?
  
  Update On Authors Uploading Stuff
  Feedback on messaging everyone is positive. There are at present over 50 presumed active resources from 26 authors that are not in the new Repository; 17 of these authors have not yet posted anything to the Repo. Of those, 6 haven’t been on the forum in the past few weeks. I’m going to leave it a week before I send out any more reminders.
  No, I don't know what OpenGeek's saying half the time either.

  Fixed - all future auto-generated forum posts will use BBCode and not HTML. Thanks for the report Paul.
  
  I should have time later today to rifle through and update all the existing posts to use BBCode if that helps.

  Thanks Raymond - it was a minor error with the script.aculo.us effects. I have fixed this on both the Upload page and the Resource Listing page.

  Also, in this batch of updates, I have added some alias cleansing to prevent ’&’ and ’?’ causing a problem on newly created resources and items (it was an issue with one of the additions to the repository earlier - now fixed).

  I’ve stopped some of the non-essential script.aculo.us files loading up which has saved 57kb.
