  @Dimmy - I asked about that earlier, one is the specific version page and one is the latest version. I agree the link is unnecessary until it is an archive version.
  
  @Djamoer - We definitely don’t want to lose replies. I think topics will be merged or linked to as appropriate. I’m going to be doing a lot of stuff with that now I’ve got the "tell contributors" bit done.
  
  Letting People Know
  I held back as requested on the invites and have now messaged everyone. Everyone with more than 1 contribution got a personal message, and the rest got a more generic version but it still had the reminder of what they’d added.
  
  One thing to note is that a number of the 26 resources currently in the New Repo weren’t in the Old Repo! I’ve reminded people about 70+ resources, so it is entirely possible that we will break the 100 barrier soon.
  
  New feature?
  Is there any way of viewing resources by author? If so, can we add a link to contributed resources to the user profiles? That would be very helpful to me to check what people have uploaded.
  No, I don't know what OpenGeek's saying half the time either.

  Dimmy, there is a section for previous releases already - although it may well not appear if it is empty.

  I just want to point out that it is just a *new* forum topic in a new location. Same database as before.
  
  The system is very clever and creates a new forum post. Because it does it using your username, you can edit the top post and link to existing support threads and resources. As a mod, I’m going to be going around and doing that also - but any help from contributors is much appreciated. It is also worthwhile posting a link to the new thread in the old thread so that people know to move their discussions there.
  
  This "new thread" malarkey is a bit of a pain for existing resources but is perfect for all the new ones that are being added.

  Yes, there is a way of linking to a filtered list of resources submitted by a particular forum member, for example this takes you to a list of my submissions. (Please note, on the link, the minus sign before the SMF ID)
  
  @Dimmy: Paul is right - the main resource page works exactly like you said in your last post.
  
  @Wendy: There are a number of sorting options included on the ’Resources Listing’ page under the heading of ’Change Results’. (including: by MODx version, tags etc.)

  then there is a link to ditto 1.0.1
  why not show the contents of the latest release here no need for a link to that version again
  and then if there are more older versions teh archive will apear (that works ok i think)
  
  its just a bit confusing: to get send to the ditto 1.0.1 page from the menu is ok but then foloing the pagetrail I see anotehr ditto page {secent picture)

  Issue with ’Duplicate’ Pages
  Right. Here’s what is happening.
  
  Most links go to the "All Releases" page, which features the latest release and lists Previous Releases.
  This page then links to the Specific Release page, which I think is un-necessary.
  
  The home page Featured link goes straight to the Specific Release page, which is BAD because that omits the help thread link etc.
  
  I consider that the Specific Release page is an archive page - I agree with Dimmy that it is indeed silly and confusing to have content duplicated in two pages, but can see that once it is no longer the latest version the second page has a purpose.
  
  I would therefore remove the link, and ensure that the Featured link goes to the Release.
  The alternative is to list all versions on the main page, in which case it could be more apparent that the Specific Release is the permalink for that specific version.
  
  Issue With Extras
  Although listed separately, "MaxiGallery PhotoBloggin" and "MaxiGallerySolo" both link to the same Extras page.
  This is BAD because when something has 27 extras it may be hard to find the actual entry for the one you just found. This should link directly to the Extra.
