Found which previous version worked in IE.
MODx version 401’s QuickEditor works in IE! All other subsequent releases don’t seem to.

Here’s the Quickedit code from 401

Doesn’t work with 429. 401 still works on its own.
429 clean install missing the sample data. I have install a second time to get the sample data installed.

you might have missed it not being checked specifically... I’ve done that before myself. Can you verify, please?
Remaining issue is some sorely needed QE tweaks to support IE’s interpretation of the web standards... making headway...

I swear...IE is the bane of existence for web developers everywhere...err...except for those who only deal with IE and IE only! Ugg! I pity the fool! LOL!

(I may have IE but I do not use it except for testing and IE specific sites! FF all the way!)
