Pre 3.3 release bug testing files

Think I found a bug... can someone independently verify, please?

Go to webuser manager. Select change name link. Press save. Blank page and no change.

Confirmed as only occurring when two webusers have identical email addresses... now fixed by Raymond with pending commit.

Found a couple more last night and Raymond squished them good. Adam, do you have any possible updates coming down for Quick Editor? The toggle on/off for the links would be really cool, as once you’re done with your editing duties they get in the way sometimes.

Even just a static/fixed position little square ("QE on/QE off") would be just fine that toggles them on and off.

I’ll see if I can throw something together tonight real quick. It shouldn’t be too hard to get a show/hide, go to manager, and logout working. It would be nice to get a dropdown list of all of the content/TVs on the page too.

I’m not going to make any promises since I have a deadline on a project coming up and I don’t know how many last minute changes they’re going to throw at me, but I’ll do what I can.

Another serious bug that can cause problems:

When changing templates, it should only change the templates, not the published, show in menu, cacheable and so on states. Those should all be maintained.

Hmmm,

Strange I tested in IE and FF and it did retain the states during a template switch

Okay, here’s another QE update. basically I’ve added a QE Toolbar for showing/hiding links, a link to the manager, a logout link and a help link. There are still a lot of things that I have planned for the toolbar but I thought it would be good to get this out soon for testing.

Let me know how it works for you. I haven’t tested it outside of Firefox and IE so maype some Opera and Safari users can give it a shot.

In Safari, it’s kinda buggy. Show/hide doesn’t work, just toggles the word and not the content. It also looks like it’s changing the cursor to an arrow, which is also confusing in Safari.
