Pre 3.2 release bug testing files

While we’re at it, I also think there should be several other minor tweaks:

• update the version information (no more x2 stuff)
• install updated NewsList snippet
• install NewsPublisher snippet
• install UserComments snippet
• install FileCabinet snippet

Sounds good. I haven’t tried most of these snippets but I’m anxious too see them work.

This brings up another point. When we get to a 1.0 release I think it would be good if we offered different download types. For instance, personal homepage, blog, comany site, community site, etc. The different versions would have different resources and default configurations to fit their respective purposes. What do you think?

Since snippets are the big part of what you’re talking about, I completely agree, we could just have it turn on different options/snippets as needed, but contain everything in a single installer. Great idea!

Looks like maybe some of my changes to QuickEdit didn’t get back in. I double cheked my attachments and I must of missed something. Anyway, they’re fixed now you might want to redownload this http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=793.0;attach=322 and include the changed files. The window resize feature will be fairly important to get in since we’ll probably get a lot of problems from people not able to get to certain buttons otherwise.

Okay, here’s the update for the OnBeforeDocFormSave and OnDocFormSave events. I’m calling it v6 just to eliminate as much confusion as possible.

The only file that has changed since the last updat is editor.class.inc.php. Raymond, you may want to give it a look to make sure I’m using these events at the right place and in the right way.

I invoked an update event even if new TV content is getting inserted. I assume this is right since it’s still not a new page. Feel free to make any needed changes.

Thanks for the updates but I think we should hold back on these changes since 1) they do not hamper the operation of the module and 2) they will require some more testing.
